4:30 PM – Scratch Level 1

Today we:

• Continued the Animal Race project
• Learned about Broadcast and When I Receive
• Coded the Dog sprite to walk when we press and release the key m
• Coded all codes to stop when the Dog touches the Finish Line
• Created the Dog Win sprite
• Coded the Dog Win sprite to hide when the Green Flag is clicked
• Coded the Dog Win sprite to show when the Dog broadcasts the message “The Dog Won”

Homework:

• Read and do the codes in Scratch Book Pg. 56
• Create a Bat Win sprite. (You can look at the image at the bottom for reference.) You do not have to add any codes to the Bat Win sprite.
