3 PM – Scratch Level 2 – Allison

Today we:

• Continued the Cheese Chase project
• Coded the Maze sprite to switch costumes for each level
• Created a Level Banner sprite, coding it to show and hide for each level by using “my blocks”
• Coded the Mouse sprite to start at a certain place when the second level starts
• Added two Beetle sprites that will show when the second level starts
• Edited any bugs in the game

Homework:

• If the Mouse sprite touches a Beetle sprite, code the Mouse sprite to stop moving and code the Game Over Banner sprite to show at the center of the screen. Do this for all three Beetle sprites
• Create a You Win Banner
• When the score is 50, code the You Win Banner to show and code the Mouse sprite to stop moving
