4:30 PM – Scratch Level 1

Today we:

• Continued the Birthday Card project
• Coded the Cake sprite to glide from left to right
• Coded the Birthday song to forever play
• Added the Shark sprites and coded them to glide when the Button sprite is clicked
• Started coding the Shark sprites to say the Birthday song lyrics
• Coded the Shark sprites to change costumes

Homework:

• Read and do the codes in Scratch Book Pg. 89 (Note: the codes should be added in the Banner sprite)
• Read and do the codes in Scratch Book Pg. 91 to finish coding the Shark sprites’ singing. (Note: start by making the second Shark broadcast Line 3)
