5 PM Scratch Level 1 – Alex Lee Substitute

Today We Did:

1. We covered how to figure out when the sprite reaches the other side of the screen, without using it to touch the edge.
2. Also, we talked about the 4 edges of the screen and how far we could go for left, right, up, and down.

For Homework:

1. Create a new sprite that has a Bat costume.
2. Make the Bat start from the top of the screen and move downwards towards the bottom of the screen.
3. The bat should change costumes to make it look like it is flying.
4. When the bat reaches the bottom of the screen, it should say “I have reached the bottom”
5. Make sure not to use “if touching edge” and go back to look at your bear for help on the code.
