6:30 PM – Scratch Level 1 – Allison

Today we:

1. Continued the Animal Race project
2. Fixed any codes that had errors
3. Continued learning about variables
4. Coded the dog to move only when the player presses and releases the “m” key

Important Reminders:

1. There are new homework rules. After you finish your homework in Scratch, you have to send an email the night before the day of the class.
2. Since our class is on Tuesday, send an email to allison@ayclogic.com by Monday at 8 PM. In that email, write down your name and a link to your shared Scratch project homework. Make sure to share your Scratch project.

Homework:

1. Code the Bat sprite to move and switch costumes ONLY when the player presses and releases the “z” key. (Hint: take a look at the codes in the Dog sprite)
