4:30 PM – Scratch Level 2 – Allison

Today we:

1. Continued the Cheese Chase project
2. Coded the Ghost sprite to chase the Mouse sprite while disappearing and showing
3. Created a Game Over Banner
4. When the Mouse sprite touches the Beetle sprite or Ghost sprite, coded the Game Over Banner to show and stop the entire game
5. Coded Level 2 to start when the score is equal to 30
6. Created and coded Beetle2 and Beetle3 sprites to show and move at Level 2
7. Coded the Game Over Banner, Beetle2, and Beetle3 sprites to hide when the game starts

Homework:

1. Create a sprite named “Level Banner”.
   1. Draw the first costume with a banner that says “Level 1”.
   2. Draw the second costume with a banner that says “Level 2”
2. Code the Level Banner to use the first costume and show for two seconds when the game starts. After that, code it to hide.
3. Code the Level Banner to use the second costume and show for two seconds when the second level starts. After that, code it to hide.
