6 PM – Scratch Level 2 – Allison

Today we:

1. Added the Beetle sprite.
2. Added maze collision code for the Beetle sprite and made it pick a random direction to turn to when it touches the maze walls.
3. Added the Ghost sprite.
4. Made the Ghost sprite follow the Mouse sprite continuously and occasionally disappear.
5. Made the Ghost sprite appear at random places on the screen.
6. Learned about MyBlocks and added a movement MyBlock in the Mouse sprite.

Important Reminders:

1. After you finish your homework in Scratch, send an email to allison@ayclogic.com by Tuesday at 8 PM. In that email, write down your name and a link to your shared Scratch project homework. Make sure to share your Scratch project.

Homework:

1. Make a Game Over Banner sprite.
2. Make a Level Banner sprite.
3. Make 2 costumes in the Level Banner sprite, one of them should be the Level 1 costume and the other should be the Level 2 costume. Make sure to name both of them correctly.
4. Make another costume in the Maze sprite. This will be the maze in the second level. Name the costumes correctly, so you know which costume is for which level.
