6:00 PM – Scratch 2 – Yitong

Today we:

1. Added the Player and Apple sprite collision.
2. Made the Players’ health go up once they touch the Apple sprite.
3. Added code to make the Star sprite show up randomly and disappear when it touches the Left Player sprite.
4. Added the Left Player Ultimate variable.
5. Made the Left Player sprite change colors when it receives a message from the Star sprite.

Homework:

1. Make a Right Player Ultimate variable.
2. When the Star sprite touches the Right Player sprite, it broadcasts a message to tell the Right Player to start changing colors and makes the Right Player Ultimate variable go up by 1.
3. When the Right Player sprite receives the message from the Star sprite, it will repeatedly change colors until the Right Player Ultimate variable is 0. When the Right Player Ultimate variable is 0, clear all the colors from the Right Player sprite.
4. When the V key is pressed, if the Left Player Ultimate variable is 1 then create a clone of the Left Player Ultimate sprite and set the Left Player Ultimate variable to 0.
5. When the N key is pressed, if the Right Player Ultimate variable is 1 then create a clone of the Right Player Ultimate sprite and set the Right Player Ultimate variable to 0.
