10 AM – Intro To Python – Darin (Riley Class)

What We Did Today:

1. Covered the topic of lists, how to modify lists by adding, removing, or replacing elements
2. Covered the topic of for loops, using lists as well the range function to iterate a certain number of times
3. Tried implementing for loops with conditionals (if statements inside of for loops)

Homework:

1. Create a file called Aug12_ListForLoopsHW.py
2. Create an empty list, and then add numbers from 1- 100 inclusive to the list using a for loop.
3. Modify the list, doubling every value by 2.
4. Print out the first 10 elements using the range function in a for loop.
