9 AM – Python OOP – Indo – Gamas
February 3 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Today we did:
- We created child classes (or subclasses) for the Monsters, such as Dragon, Troll, and Golem.
- We made sure that the magic attack does not work if the species is immune to it using inheritance.
- We covered the practice final test.
Homework:
- Make sure to connect all the classes to the MonsterInheritance class.
- Make sure the troll class is correct (it should not be Dragon, that was a copy-and-paste error)
- To make sure that the program works, finally, in add_default_monster in MonsterInheritance, make sure to change all the Monsters with their own types. Since the Dragon, Troll, and Golem constructors all have only two parameters, it should look something like this:
The program should be working now.
Finally, make sure to submit the practice final test a day before the class. This is worth 10% of your grade, so make sure you do your best.
