6 PM – Scratch Level 2 – Abigail

Today we:

1. Started the Spaceship project
2. Coded the Star sprite
3. Coded the Rocketship sprite to move
4. Coded the Asteroid sprite
5. Created the Banner sprite
6. Coded a timer

Homework:

1. In your Spaceship project:
   1. Code the Banner sprite to go to the center of the screen and hide when the game starts
   2. Code the Banner sprite to show when the player wins. (Make sure to use the You Win costume)
   3. Code the Banner sprite to show when the player loses. (Make sure to use the You Lose costume)
2. If you don’t have the Scratch Level 2 book yet, ask your family if you can buy it. A picture of the book is below. You can buy the book online.
   • If possible, please try to get the book by 1-2 weeks
