9 AM – Intro To Java – Darin

What We Did Today:

1. Learnt an overview of the structure for android applications, with activity_main.xml and MainActivity.java
2. Learnt how to add elements to the app and adjust their attributes
3. Learnt about constraints and how they are necessary for placement of elements.
4. Learnt how to implement a simple function that prints a statement when our button is clicked (by adding the function to the onClick attribute of the button)
