Advaith Sai Pragasthya Atluri (Adi)
At American Young Coder Academy, we celebrate the incredible achievements of our students. Today, we’re proud to introduce Advaith Sai Pragasthya Atluri, fondly known as Adi. His enthusiasm for coding and learning has made him a standout in our community.
A Young Engineer with Big Dreams
Adi’s journey into programming began early, supported by his father, Naga Srihari Atluri, who introduced him to the basics of coding. Starting with Scratch in 2nd grade, Adi earned multiple certificates and created games on platforms like MakeCode. Since joining American Young Coder Academy, his interest and skills have grown significantly.
It’s important to recognize the role that family encouragement and collaboration can play in such achievements. Adi’s father has been a consistent guide, providing help with understanding concepts and resolving challenges, while empowering Adi to explore and create independently.
Courses Completed at American Young Coder Academy
Adi joined American Young Coder Academy in February 2023 as a 4th grader, starting with our Intro to Python course. Since then, he has progressed through several programs:
- Python OOP: Building a strong foundation in object-oriented programming concepts.
- Python Game Development: Designing interactive games using Python.
- AI/Machine Learning: Currently exploring advanced AI and machine learning topics.
Through these courses, Adi has developed both technical skills and problem-solving abilities, which he applies to his independent projects.

Independent Projects and Achievements
Adi has explored coding far beyond his coursework, demonstrating a creative and entrepreneurial spirit:
- Developed two iOS apps, available on the App Store:
- Math To Go: A math learning app for kids.
- Spell Kids: A fun spelling app for young learners.
- Built games using Unity and C#, showcasing his versatility as a programmer.
- Designed his personal website, AdvaithAtluri.com, to document and display his projects.
Adi’s father has shared that these achievements are often the result of teamwork, with Adi taking the lead and his father offering guidance and support as needed. For example, Adi learned Swift and Xcode through YouTube tutorials after receiving a MacBook and created an emoji app the same day.
Gratitude and Acknowledgements
Adi’s father remarked, “Adi learned Python very well from you and other amazing teachers at American Young Coder Academy. The academy has played a significant role in nurturing his interest in computers and programming.”
We’re proud of the role American Young Coder Academy has played in supporting Adi’s learning journey. His story highlights the power of education, curiosity, and the encouragement of family.
