Introduction
Christopher Chen, a talented 12th-grade student from Sydney, Australia, has been a shining example of creativity and technical expertise in the world of coding and software design. His journey in programming started in 9th grade when he enrolled in American Young Coder (AYC) Academy, and since then, his skills have blossomed into a remarkable repertoire of projects and accomplishments.

Projects
Pokémon: The Legend of Aurius
Christopher’s standout achievement is his game, Pokémon: The Legend of Aurius. This project, inspired by the Pokémon Insurgence game and the RPG genre, showcases his ability to combine storytelling and programming skills to craft an engaging experience.
The game was developed using the Ruby programming language in the RPG Maker engine, a derivative of the C programming language. It featured a unique storyline and original Pokémon species, displaying his deep understanding of game mechanics and creativity.
Christopher’s work was recognized at his high school’s Fusion event, a showcase of students’ creative talents across music, visual arts, and software design. Nominated by his Software Design & Development teacher, he presented Pokémon: The Legend of Aurius to parents, students, and guests, who had the chance to play and appreciate his work.
2. Python Game Development Projects
In addition to Pokémon: The Legend of Aurius, Christopher completed several projects as part of the Python Game Development course at American Young Coder (AYC).
