10 PM – Intro To Python – Private – Gamas

Today We Did

1. We went over IF ELSE and IF ELIF statements.
2. We reviewed again how to combine string using “f” formatter.
3. We started input from shell.

Homework

1. Create Nov22_Private_IfElseHomework.py –  Answer questions from page 84 and 85: TRY IT YOURSELF 5-3, 5-4, 5-5, 5-6, 5-7 .  If you don’t understand this, review the class lesson last week.

2. Create a variable student and the value is “Joshua”. Add code that will check if the value of student variable is “Joshua” then it will print “JOSHUA is Lanvin friend”. Otherwise print “<student value in all capital> is Gamas friend”
3. Create Nov 22_Private_InputFromShellHomework.py –

   Ask user what is your school name?. If the user answers Santa Ursula then print Santa Ursula is a catholic school otherwise print <school name that user enters in all lower case> is a non-catholic school.

4. Also copy codes from book page 114 to 116: 5th week. Remember to run your codes and check if the result is the same like the book. Try to review my InputFromShell recording if you get confused with this question.
