10:30 AM – Scratch 2 – Yitong

Today we:

1. Started the Spaceship project.
2. Added movement code for the Rocketship sprite.
3. Added the Star sprite, and had it make clones randomly and fall down all over the screen.
4. Added the Asteroid sprite, and had it make clones randomly and fall down all over the screen.
5. Added the Fireball sprite, and made a clone of it every time the space key is pressed.
6. Made the Fireball sprite show up at the Rocketship sprite and move up the screen.
7. Added collision code for the Asteroid sprite and the Fireball sprite.

Homework:

1. Make a Game Over Banner sprite. You don’t need to add any code to it.
2. Add the Lightning sprite. It should be in the Scratch Sprite Library.
3. Make the Lightning sprite hide. Create clones of it when the B key is pressed (this code should be done in the Rocketship sprite).
4. Make the Lightning clones show up at the Rocketship sprite.
5. Make the Lightning clones move up the screen forever.
