11 AM – Scratch Level 2 – Abigail

Today we:

1. Started the Spaceship project
2. Created the Star sprite by redesigning the Snowflake sprite’s costume, deleting the stamp codes, and making the clones fall straight down
3. Added the Rocketship sprite
4. Coded the Rocketship sprite to move up, down, left, and right depending on which arrow key the player presses
5. Created the Asteroid sprite

Homework:

1. Code the Asteroid sprite to be a bigger size, around the Rocketship’s size or bigger
2. Change the Asteroid sprite to create a clone every 2 seconds instead of 0.03 seconds
3. Create a Game Over Banner sprite
