2 PM – Intro To Python – Bill

Today We:

1. Learned about variables and data types
2. Learned about concatenating(adding) strings and string functions(.upper(), .lower(), etc)
3. Learned about if statements
4. Learned about how to do math with variables
5. Learned about getting user input
6. Learned about converting between data types

Your HW:

1. Create a new file in your HW folder called June_20_StringHomework.py
2. Copy codes from pages 20-23 from the text book.
   • Read those pages and copy the code they provide
   • In the book sometimes they put “>>>” this means, the book is doing it in the shell.

3. Create a new file in your HW folder called June_20_IfElseHomework.py
4. Do pages 79-81 from the textbook like you did from pages 20-23:
