3 PM – Scratch Level 2 – Allison

Today we:

• Continued the Cheese Chase project
• Coded the Cheese sprite to go to a random place when the Green Flag is clicked
• Coded the Cheese sprite to play the sound “pop” when it touches the Mouse sprite
• Added the Ghost sprite and coded it to follow the mouse while disappearing and appearing
• Created the Maze sprite

Homework:

• Find your pink Scratch book in case we need it in future classes
• Code the Mouse sprite to be 35% of its original size and Ghost sprite to be 50% of their original size
• Code the Maze sprite to go to the center of the screen
• Code the Maze sprite to go to the back layer
• Create a Game Over Banner sprite and code it to hide when the Green Flag is clicked
