4:30 PM – Scratch Level 1

Today we:

• Coded the Bat sprite to move when we press and release the key z
• Coded all codes to stop when the Bat sprite touches the Finish Line
• Created the Bat Win sprite
• Coded the Bat Win sprite to hide and show
• Finished the Animal Race project
• Started the Funny Face project
• Drew the Head and Eyes sprite
• Coded the Head and Eyes sprites to go to a specific place when the Green Flag is clicked
• Coded the Head sprite to go to the back layer

Homework:

• Add a Bowtie sprite from the Scratch Sprite Library
• Add a Hat sprite from the Scratch Sprite Library (If you want, you can choose a different sprite as long as it is something your Head sprite can wear/use – ex: Glasses sprite, Necklace sprite)
• Draw a Hair sprite
• Code the Bowtie, Hair sprite, and the Hat sprite/other sprite you added to go to a specific place when the Green Flag is clicked
