5 PM – Python Game Development – Darin

What We Did Today:
- Finished up flappy bird (duck) by adding sound effects and a losing page.
- Got started on shoot balloon, the last game for this class.
Homework:
FINISH your project proposal details for all the weeks if you haven’t done so already. Refer to the last events calendar for the details on the proposal.
- Continue your final project and update what you have done in the project proposal (by checkmarking).
- Push and commit your code every time you finish your part.
Your other homework is to make the balloons spawn in shoot balloon project going upwards in random x coordinates. Start the spawn at the value HEIGHT. You will need a balloon group and a create_balloon method for this.
You will also need to spawn the background image first and make sure to “modify the run configuration” of the main.py file to make sure /src is removed. You can right click the main.py file to do this.
