5 PM – Scratch Level 1 – Allison

Today we:

1. Added a score
2. Added a timer
3. Added a variable to keep track of the difficulty level
4. Coded to turn the video off when the space bar is clicked
5. Learned how to make a Splat clone appear when one splat disappears
6. Coded only 10 Splat clones to show up at a time
7. Randomized the clones’ sizes
8. Finished the Window Cleaner project

Homework:

1. Create a new Scratch project and title it “Practice 1 – Moving”
2. In this project, code the Cat sprite to start at the right edge when the Green Flag is clicked and make it move/walk all the way to the left. Make sure it has a walking animation (hint: switch costumes)
3. Add a Bat sprite to start at the top edge when the Green Flag is clicked and make it move/fly all the way to the bottom. Make sure it has a flying animation (hint: switch costumes)
