5 PM – Scratch Level 2 – Allison

Today we:

1. Started the Spaceship project
2. Coded the Star sprite
3. Coded the Rocketship sprite to move
4. Created the Asteroid sprite

Homework:

1. In your Spaceship project:
   1. Finish drawing the Asteroid (See the image below)
   2. Create a new sprite called “Banner”. The sprite will have two costumes. (See the images below):
      1. One costume will be a banner saying “You Win!”
      2. The second costume will be a banner saying “Game Over”
      3. Code the Banner sprite to go to the center of the screen and hide when the game starts
2. Ask your family if you can buy the Scratch Level 2 Book for the class. A picture of the book is below. You can buy the book online.
   • If possible, please try to get the book by 1-2 weeks
   • Please let us know if you are unable to get the book
