5 PM – Scratch Level 2 – Allison

Today we:

1. Coded the game to be over when the Rocketship and Asteroid touch
2. Coded the player to win when the timer reaches 0
3. Finished the Spaceship 1.0 project
4. Started the Spaceship 2.0 project

Homework:

1. In your Spaceship 2.0 project:
   1. Code the Rocketship sprite to create a clone of the Fireball sprite when the space key is pressed
   2. Code the Fireball clone to go to the Rocketship when it is created
   3. Code the Fireball clone to go up after it is created
   4. Code the Fireball clone to delete when it reaches the top edge
2. Ask your family if you can buy the Scratch Level 2 Book for the class. A picture of the book is below. You can buy the book online.
   • If possible, please try to get the book by next week.
