6:30 PM – Scratch Level 1 – Allison

Today We:

1. Continued the Funny Faces project
2. Added the Glasses sprite
3. Coded the Glasses sprite to have a transparent effect
4. Drew the costume for the Mouth sprite
5. Coded the Glasses sprite and Mouth sprite to go to a specific spot when the game starts

Important Reminders:

1. There are new homework rules. After you finish your homework in Scratch, you have to send an email the night before the day of the class.
2. Since our class is on Tuesday, send an email to allison@ayclogic.com by Monday at 8 PM. In that email, write down your name and a link to your shared Scratch project homework. Make sure to share your Scratch project.

Homework:

1. Add a Hat sprite. Code the Hat sprite to have a bigger size (so it covers the head or is on top of the head).
2. Code the Hat sprite to go a specific spot when the game starts
3. Create another sprite by drawing any accessory you’d like (ex: necklace, earrings, scarves, earbuds). Make sure to rename your sprite. Code this sprite to go to a specific spot when the game starts.
