9 AM – Indo – Python Game Development – Joel
June 1 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Today we did:
- We continued working on the final project
- We continued ShootBalloon
Homework:
- Continue with ShootBalloon and do the following:
- Finish the update function for the bug class and make it move horizontally (left or right)
- Randomize the y position, and pick either the left or the right edge of the screen for the spawn point
- Finish the moving animation for the bug
- Make a dizzy mode, so that when the target collides with the bug, the bug starts falling down with the dizzy image.
- Make sure that the hitbox of the balloon does not include the string. You can move around the height of the rect for this one.
- Make a collision function for both the target-balloon and target-bug. The bug will not disappear as it will have the dizzy animation (number 4), but the balloon will disappear.
