9:30 AM – Scratch 1 – Yitong

Today we:

1. Finished the Draw Shapes project.
2. Started the Animal Crossing project.
3. Added the XY-Grid background.
4. Added the Mouse1 sprite and made it walk to the right. When it hits the edge of the screen, it says “Ouch!”
5. Added the Mouse2 sprite and made it glide to the right.
6. Added the Bat sprite and made it fly up. When it gets to the top of the screen, it says “Weee!”

Homework:

1. Add the “Bear-walking” sprite from the Scratch Library.
2. Set the Bear sprite’s size to 50%.
3. Make the Bear sprite face towards the left USING CODE.
4. Make the Bear sprite walk towards the left of the screen.
5. Make the Bear sprite switch costumes while walking.
6. When the Bear sprite gets to the left edge of the screen, it should say “I win!”
7. Add the “Dinosaur3” sprite from the Scratch Library.
8. Set the Dinosaur sprite’s size to 50%.
9. Make the Dinosaur sprite fly down the screen.
10. Make the Dinosaur sprite switch costumes while flying.
11. When the Dinosaur sprite gets to the bottom of the screen, it should say “Hello!”
