7 PM – Scratch 1 – Julian

Today We Did:

• Finished our Dino Dance project!
  • Finished dinosaur movement and added a new dinosaur that can talk when x is pressed.
  • Added a ballerina that jumps and a ballerina that does a dance.
  • Talked about angles and what direction they correspond to.
  • Discussed for loops and if statements.

Homework:

• Pages 48-52 in your textbook.
  • Set up our first variable, Count.
  • Program the cat using the variable Count.
  • Set up a backdrop.
  • Add the dog sprite to the game and delete only the third costume.
• Memorize your angles for the mini-quiz next week.
